"I'm Cool!" says Mabel

Last into the milking parlour, and first out of a left-opened gate. No jumping over the moon for me. I’m as happy as Leisa my cousin - and my sisters and my aunts. I know when I’m in clover, and it’s here in the water-meadows of the Afon Cynin, which runs through the Carmarthenshire countryside on its way to the open sea. At dusk I glimpsed an otter and her cub playing amongst the rushes and heard the cry of a solitary curlew heading for the estuary.

Good night, Nos da, from one contented cow! The grass is green and lush enough on this side of the hedge - I’m glad to be here at Glancynin!
